Imprisoned Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Ranjan Ramanayake was brought before the Sri Lanka Press Council in Colombo today.
MP Ramanayake appeared before the Press Council of Sri Lanka over an inquiry into the complaint file by him against Mawbima news.
Ramanayake is currently serving a sentence on charges of contempt of court and has been imprisoned at the Angunukolapelessa prison.
He was escorted by a group of Police officers to the Press Council of Sri Lanka.
