The presidential candidate of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance,
entrepreneur Dilith Jayaweera, says that none of the policy statements presented by the other presidential candidates are practical.
Speaking at a rally in Eheliyagoda, he asserted that the only manifesto with a proper program to suit the country is that of the ‘Sarvajana Balaya’ alliance.
He criticized the other main presidential candidates, asserting that they would not bring about significant change.
“You must decide: will you accept the status quo and move towards further decline, or will you step towards progress and a developed world?”
“Do you want to live in a country of happiness or one filled with hatred and conflict? Will you choose a country where problems are extinguished or one where they are ignited?” he questioned.
Jayaweera further emphasized that the opportunity to safeguard Sri Lanka, build a better future, and preserve its heritage lies with the voters.
“You are the one who has got the opportunity to protect this beloved Sri Lanka and create a happy world and provide the caress of this Sri Lanka to your unborn child who will be born in the future, and to give the heritage of our civilization that has brought us for thousands of years.”
