Former Minister Rishad Bathiudeen’s brother Riyaj Bathiudeen was released from CID custody as there was not enough evidence to file a case against him, Police
Spokesman SSP Jaliya Senaratne said today.
Riyaj Baduideen was detained for nearly 5 months on suspicion in connection to the 2019 Easter Sunday terror attacks.
On Tuesday, he was released from the custody of the Criminal Investigations Department.
