Police have arrested two suspects in connection
with the stabbing death of a man with sharp weapons inside a parked three-wheeler at Ward Place in Colombo on the July 23.
During the arrest, the suspects were found to be in possession of 30 grams and 200 milligrams of ice (crystal methamphetamine) drug.
The two suspects were arrested while traveling in a three-wheeler during a search operation conducted by a team of officers from the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) in Samagi Mawatha, Grandpass yesterday (26).
Police said that the suspects, aged 35 and 48, are residents of Gonawila and Grandpass.
The reason for the murder has not yet been revealed and the Colombo Crime Division is conducting further investigations into the incident.
