Parliament approves 08 new diplomatic appointments: Permanent representative to the UN is C. A. Chandraprema

 

The Committee on High Posts of the Sri Lankan Parliament has approved the appointments of 08 diplomats.

Accordingly, C. A. Chandraprema will be Sri Lanka’s permanent representative to the United Nations.

Milinda Moragoda will be Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to India.

Ravinatha Ariyasinghe will be Sri Lanka’s new Ambassador to the United States of America.

S. Amarasekera will be Sri Lanka’s new High Commissioner to South Africa.

Retired Admiral K. K. V. P. Harischandra Silva will be Sri Lanka’s new Ambassador to Afghanistan.

Wishramal Sanjeev Gunasekera will be Sri Lanka’s new Ambassador to Japan.

Professor Kshanika Hirimburegama will be Sri Lanka’s new Ambassador to France.

Dr. Palitha Kohona was approved to be Sri Lanka’s new Ambassador to China.
